This project was a 4 hour design challenge. The problem was to design a digital experience that can help loyal customers of a hotel customize their hotel room's environment. My role included
My solution included the use of a customer's smartphone and a controller device (possibly a tab) inside their hotel room. I wireframed the system for iPhone and iPad.
To understands the needs of the users I conducted a short survey by interviewing four of my friends via chat, who travel frequently.
Before travelling, the customer will log into the app from their smartphone, select their preffered date, and select the preferences for the room amenities.
The customer will be able to use a Universal Controller. I imagined the controller will be a tab like screen that displays different options for adjustments.
I created the final visual design for one page on Adobe Photoshop. It has a simple color scheme and modern typography and iconography to give it a business-centric look.
Part of this challenge was to come up with a draft project plan. I made a draft skeleton for the project timeline highlighting the key aspects of the project.
